Career Interests:
Career Interests is a web application that also helps you choose:
- a career education path,
- training, or
- job
which fits your interests, skills and abilities.
While schools, colleges, universities and training organisations are great at developing skills and abilities many people start their career with a job that may not even interest them. So trying to find interesting and satisfying jobs is really useful as part of finding a path to a great career.
When you choose a career that matches your overall interests, you’re more likely to enjoy your job. You’re also more likely to be successful.
This is where we can help.
With an easy-to-use career interests questionnaire based on the Holland personality types, we can help you find Which careers may be right for you. This can also provide direction if looking for jobs or a training opportunity. From there users can see which areas they score highest in. and can get an individual report about their results and what they mean.
Not only can you see which careers may be right for you and print this information. You can also use it to investigate over 600 jobs in to our database of careers choices organised by interest. You can also use this database as a launch pad for getting detailed careers information from across the internet.
What do users get?
Users get unlimited log-ins to the system for a period up a year, during which time they can run the interest assessment questionnaire up to 3 times (at intervals of 4 months). They can check their scores and create a Career reference list of possible jobs from our database. They also get a reminder to download any information before the year end. And all our systems are GDPR complient.
How can users get started?
We offer two ways to get started.
- Users can have direct access to the system if their organisation, college, university or school takes out a licence for a number of users for the year. The organisation issues the access codes and users use the codes to access the system.
- Individual users can buy access directly via credit/debit card (see Users for more information)
